The Riad DAR RITA is located in Ouarzazate in the neighborhood of Tassoumaat, very specific and interesting neighborhood where you can really feel the local life and the real spirit of the city. Kids playing in the street until late at night, the neighbors drinking tea and talking, people sitting in front of local shops, artisans working until late, bikes and toys in the middle of the street and nobody steals anything, this is the neighborhood in which was located our riad Dar Rita, which I really recommend to everyone who will travel to Ouarzazate.
The owners of the riad are from Portugal, João and Rita, brother and sister who are living in Morocco for many years, especially João (famous travel blogger) who is traveling a lot in Morocco since lot of time and today almost everyone knows him. During the year they are organizing lot of trips for the Portuguese tourists who want to visit Morocco. When we entered in the hotel, there was one guy working there and said welcome with a big smile, Azis – he is working in the riad for a while, he offered mint tea and showed us the room. The room was in a traditional style, air-conditioned and the most important thing – it was clean. The entire hotel was decorated with unique and carefully chosen items. The roof terrace was also in a traditional Moroccan style. Rita, the owner, told us that the Riad exist for 5 years and they are always keep working on it to make tourists feel like home and they are available literally for everything, any kind of help, information and organization.
The Riad has 7 bedrooms (single, twin and family rooms). The price includes also tasty breakfast. The team of the Riad offer several types of organized tours including:
