Looking for somewhere a little different for a night out in Skopje? Follow the red light!
Hidden on the second floor of the old City Trade Center (GTC), Jazzbina is one of those places you might easily walk past without ever knowing it is there. But follow the music and the red glow, and you’ll find a cosy jazz bar where cocktails, live music and a slightly mysterious atmosphere come together.
Jazz is at the heart of the place, with live performances adding to the atmosphere. At the moment, the live sessions take place every Thursday, making it a great night to visit if you want to experience Jazzbina at its liveliest. It’s not the kind of bar you go to simply for a drink , you go to stay for a while, listen to the music and see where the evening takes you.
My tip: don’t look for a big sign. Just head to the second floor of GTC, look for the red light, and follow the music.
